A rigid chassis self-loading trailer, the SB450 features dependable technology, robust construction and user-friendly control systems. Safe to operate and simple to maintain, the SB450 lets you place your heavy loads with precision even in tight operational situations.

The SB450 Gooseneck Sidelifter semi-trailer brings you all the benefits of the SB450 Standard, but with a low chassis frame – making it the optimal solution in countries where height is an issue.

Containers sit just above the truck coupling height. This makes it easier to access warehouses, safer to drive under bridges or through tunnels, and minimises the risk of hitting low hanging power lines. The SB450 Gooseneck self-loading trailer is also ideal for carrying high cube containers.

It features an adjustable trailer chassis which can be either extended or retracted in order to handle shorter or longer containers (where regulations allow). This innovative “trombone” function makes it easier and safer for drivers to navigate difficult areas when carrying a single 20’ container – yet it can expand to carry larger containers or 2 x 20’ containers when required.

The SB303 standard Sidelifter is a light, fast and precise Sidelifter. Ideal for urban environments

It is designed to provide a lightweight solution for fast pick up and delivery of containers.  The lightweight chassis with alloy wheels provides solutions to customers starting at 7T tareweight.  The rigid lightweight chassis does not compromise on durability to deliver the low tareweight. a centrally mounted ISO specification tank is less vulnerable to damage as it is protected by the chassis.

The STEELBRO Rail Underbelly Leg is an optional stabiliser for the SB450 Sidelifter. It is designed to enable the lifting of heavy containers to, and from, rail wagons where space is limited.

Choose the sidelifter leg configuration to suit your operation

Features

  • The Rail Underbelly Leg is installed at the rear in addition to a normal stabiliser providing extra flexibility for customers
  • Handles single rear 20’, 2 x 20’, 40’ containers
  • Can perform container lifts to and from the ground, trailer transfer and double stack
  • The Rail Underbelly Leg is deployed and controlled via the remote control (cable or radio)
  • The Rail Underbelly Leg is fitted with Stabiliser Interlock system to prevent lifting without the stabiliser being deployed
  • The foot is designed to easily fit between the rail wagon and track with the unique spherical joint allowing the foot to glide over the track and into position

The Bandy Leg is an optional stabiliser for the SB450 which is designed for use with transferring from and to rail wagons.
